The multi-sensory art experience will include massive transformative artworks, taking guests on a sensory-rich journey that transcends the ordinary. The artworks aim to engage sight, sound, and touch, encouraging guests to expand the way they feel, connect and interact with the world around them.
Sitting at the intersection of art, science, and technology, the artworks do not exist independently; the environment creates various phenomena that become the artwork, offering a dynamic, ever-evolving guest experience and ensuring that no two visits will be the same.
Spread over 17,000 square meters, teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi explores phenomena that exist in a continuous, inseparable relationship with their surroundings. It focuses on 'Environmental Phenomena'—things that cease to exist if the environment is gone, but will continue to exist as long as the environment remains.
Everyday elements like air, water, and light become phenomena through the unique environment, and these phenomena become existence. The artwork cannot exist on its own; the environment generates phenomena, and those phenomena cause the existence of the artwork.
Know Before You Go
Wear comfortable, practical clothing and supportive shoes, as high heels are not allowed. Opt for white or plain-colored outfits for photogenic pictures against the light displays. Some exhibits include water elements, so attire that can be rolled up to your knees is recommended.
Photography and videos are allowed but must not disturb others. Flash and external lights are prohibited. Commercial filming requires prior approval.
Late arrivals may be allowed entry on the same day, subject to staff discretion. Admission is not guaranteed, and the last entry is one hour before closing.
teamLab Phenomena is family-friendly, but safety guidelines apply. Some artworks have height restrictions, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Water elements are present, so a change of clothes is recommended. Certain areas may be dark or have uneven terrain, so keep children close at all times.
Free lockers are available, and personal belongings must be stored in lockers before entering areas with uneven flooring or water-based installations for safety and hygiene reasons.
Re-entry is not permitted once you leave the venue, so please ensure you’ve completed your visit before exiting.
A dedicated nursing room is available for breastfeeding mothers.
Valet parking is available at teamLab Phenomena.
